A group of delegates from the German embassy, GIZ and KFW national and regional coordinators visited the institute and inspected the works being done with the support of the German government and people.

The institute thanked the German people and government for being the main partners supporting the Ethiopian technical and vocational training sector and the institute.

When the director of the institute Dr. Biruk Kedir gave a statement to the delegation, he said “The German government is a true partner in the field of technical and vocational training of Ethiopia.” Germany appreciated the contribution it is making to develop the institute and the country’s technical and vocational training and asked that the support of Germany should continue in terms of capacity building, digitization, system-training, and seven other issues.

The members of the delegates were impressed by the institute’s training workshops and expressed that their support is being implemented. It is believed that this visit will strengthen the promise that the German government promised to support the technical and vocational training of Ethiopia.
