በመድረኩ ኢንስቲትዩቱ በአዲሱ የትምህርትና ሥልጠና ፖሊሲ መሰረት በማኑፋክቸሪንግ ቴክኖሎጂ እና የቴክኒክና ሙያ አመራር ዘርፍ በደረጃ ስምንት / PhD / ስልጠና ለመስጠት ሲያደርግ የነበረው የቅድመ ዝግጅት ሥራ መጠናቀቁ ተመላክቷል፡፡
በቴክኒክና ሙያ ታሪክ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ለሚሰጠው ስልጠና የተደረገው የቅድመ ዝግጅት ሥራ በዝርዝር ቀርቦ ውይይት ተደርጎበታል፡፡
የሥራና ክህሎት ሚኒስትር ክብርት ወ/ሮ ሙፈሪሃት ካሚል፤ የተደረገው የቅድመ ዝግጅት ሥራ ለኢትዮጵያ ቀጣይ ጉዞ ምላሽ መስጠት የሚያስችል ነው ብለዋል፡፡
ዝግጅቱ ከሀገር በቀል ኢኮኖሚው ሪፎርም ጋር የሚጣጣም እንደሆነ የገለጹት ክብርት ሚኒስትር የዘርፉን ገጽታ ብቻ ሳይሆን የቴክኒክና ሙያ ስርዓቱ ላይ ያለውን የይዘትና የአሰለጣጠን ዘይቤ ከመሰረቱ መቀየር በሚያስችል መልኩ መቃኘት እንዳለበትም አመላክተዋል፡፡
ውጤት ተኮር ስርዓት ትክክለኛ የዘርፉ መለያ ነው፡፡ ትግበራው ይህን የዘርፉን ተፈጥሯዊ ባህሪ በተረዳና ለሥራ ገበያው ፈጣን ምላሽ በሚሰጥ መልኩ መተግበር ያስፈልጋል ብለዋል፡፡
የኢፌዲሪ ቴክኒክና ሙያ ስልጠና ኢንስቲትዩት በሀገራችን ብቸኛው የቴክኒክና ሙያ ዘርፍ የልህቀት ማዕከል ሆኖ እያገለገለ የሚገኝ ተቋም ነው፡፡
ኢንስቲትዩቱ በደረጃ 6 እና በደረጃ 7 ፕሮግራሞች በተለያዩ የስልጠና መስኮች ለጎረቤት አገራት ዜጎች፣ ለአገራችን የዘርፉ አመራሮችና አሰልጣኞች እንዲሁም ከ12ኛ ክፍል የከፍተኛ ትምህርት መግቢያ ውጤት ያመጡ ተማሪዎችን ተቀብሎ እያሰለጠነ ይገኛል።

The preparation to open level eight/ PhD / programs is in line with the development of the country’s economy.
Ministry of work and skill, EFDR technical and vocational training institute has observed the preparatory work done to open new training programs in level 8 / PhD / in the presence of the honorable minister.
According to the new education and training policy, the institute has been preparing to give training in Manufacturing Technology and Technical and Vocational Management sector in the eight/PhD/.
The preparatory work done for the first time in the history of technical and vocational training has been discussed in detail.
The minister of work and skills her excellency Mrs. Muferihat Kamil said that the preparatory work that has been done will be able to give response to Ethiopia’s next journey.
The honorable minister who stated that the program is in line with the economic reform of the country should not only look at the appearance of the sector but also change the technical and vocational system in a way that will be able to change the content and training style.
A result oriented system is the real identity of the sector. The implementation has said that it is necessary to implement it in a way that understands the natural nature of the sector and responds to the job market quickly.
FDRE technical and vocational training institute is the only institute in our country serving as a center of excellence in technical and vocational sector.
The institute is accepting and training students with grade 12 and level 7 programs in different training areas for citizens of neighboring countries, leaders and coaches of our country and students who got results from grade 12.
