The director of Human Resource Development, Health, Education and Social Welfare programs at the World Bank East and South Africa Zone Mr Daniel Deliski visited the institute.
The
director’s visit to the World Bank of Ethiopia especially with the support of the institute, says the Minister of Labor and Skills Dieta Teshel Berecha (Dr.)
The minister who said that the institute is coming up with training, technology development and research missions has expressed his gratitude for the support that the world bank is doing for the success of the mission.
FDRE Technical and Vocational Training Institute Director Dr. Biruk Kedir received the delegation and explained the work the institute is doing and said that the support of the World Bank through different projects has brought a lot of changes.
The Director General stated that the bank’s support is helping to ensure the quality of technical and vocational training. Moreover, he also noted that he has encouraged work on ensuring digitization, strengthening regional linkages and creating job opportunities.
Mr Daniel, the director of East and South Africa of the Bank, appreciated that the institute is being trained by creating training opportunities for the citizens of neighboring countries and said that he is happy with the cooperation between the institute and the private sector and the quality of training programs.
The director who noted that Africa is a continent of youth has stated that the bank will play its role to expand digital skills in training institutions.
The Director General stated that the bank’s support has contributed greatly to the expansion of the quality and accessibility of training by supporting the youth, disabled and women.
The institute’s vice-general directors, Alembank professionals, the institute’s coaches and trainees were present at the ceremony.

በዓለም ባንክ የምሥራቅና ደቡብ አፍሪካ ቀጠና የሰው ሀብት ልማት፣ ጤና፣ ትምህርት እና የማህበራዊ ደህንነት ፕሮግራሞች ዳይሬክተር ሚስተር ዳንኤል ደሊስኪ ኢንስቲትዩቱን ጎብኝተዋል፡፡
የዳይሬክተሩ ጉብኝት ዓለም ባንክ በኢትዮጵያ በተለይም በኢንስቲትዩቱ በሚያደርገው ድጋፍ እየተሰሩ ያሉ ስራዎችን መመልከትና አጋርነቱን ለማጠናከር ያለመ እንደሆነ የሥራና ክህሎት ሚኒስትር ዲኤታ ተሻለ በሬቻ (ዶ/ር) ገልጸዋል፡፡
ኢንስቲትዩቱ በስልጠና፣ በቴክኖሎጂ ልማት እንዲሁም በጥናትና ምርምር ተልዕኮዎችን እየተመጣ እንደሆነ የተናገሩት ሚኒስትር ዲኤታው ለተልዕኮው ስኬት ዓለም ባንክ እያደረገ ላለው ድጋፍ ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበዋል።
የኢፌዲሪ ቴክኒክና ሙያ ስልጠና ኢንስቲትዩት ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ብሩክ ከድር የልዑካን ቡድኑን ተቀብለው ያስተናገዱ ሲሆን ኢንስቲትዩቱ እየሰራቸው ያላቸውን ስራዎች ገልጸው የዓለም ባንክ በተለያዩ ፕሮጀክቶች በኩል እያደረገ ያለው ድጋፍ ብዙ ለውጥ ማምጣቱን ተናግረዋል፡፡
የባንኩ ድጋፍ የቴክኒክና ሙያ ስልጠና ጥራትን ለማረጋገጥ እያገዘ መሆኑን የጠቀሱት ዋና ዳይሬክተሩ ከዚህም ባሻገር ዲጂታይዘሽንን ለማረጋገጥ፣ ቀጠናዊ ትስስር እንዲጠናከር በማድረግ እና የስራ እድል ፈጠራ ላይ አበረታች ስራ መሰራቱን አንስተዋል፡፡
በባንኩ የምስራቅና ደቡብ አፍሪካ ዳይሬከተሩ ሚስተር ዳንኤል በበኩላቸው ኢንስቲትዩቱ ለጎረቤት አገራት ዜጎች የስልጠና ዕድል በመፍጠር እየሰለጠነ መሆኑን አድንቀው የኢንስቲትዩቱና የግሉ ዘርፍ ትብብር እና በስልጠና ፕሮግራሞች ጥራት መደሰታቸውን ተናግረዋል፡፡
አፍሪካ የወጣቶች አህጉር መሆኗም ያስታወሱት ዳይሬክተሩ በሥልጠና ተቋማት ዲጂታል ክህሎት እንዲስፋፋ ባንኩ ሚናውን እንደሚወጣም ገልጸዋል፡፡
የባንኩ ድጋፍ በአጠቃላይ ወጣቶችን፣ አካል ጉዳተኞችንና ሴቶችን በመደገፍ የስልጠና ጥራትና ተደራሽነት እንዲሰፋ ትልቅ አስተዋጽኦ ማድረጉን ዋና ዳይሬክተሩ ገልጸዋል፡፡
በሥነስርዓቱ ላይ የኢንስቲትዩቱ ም/ዋና ዳይሬክተሮች፣ የዓለምባንክ ሙያተኞች፣ የኢንስቲትዩቱ አሰልጣኞችና ሰልጣኞች ተገኝተዋል።
