About The Directorate
The leadership, management, and governance training center was established in 2021 to carry out one of the missions of the institute: building the leadership capacity of TVET and in-company leaders through quality short-term training. The center provides leadership training for TVET leaders who are at different managerial levels, like college deans, vice deans, department heads, TVET bureau management bodies, and so on.
As TVET is the most capital-intensive sector, every TVET college needs a leader who can use the resources efficiently and lead the institution with enthusiasm and innovation. Moreover, training in leadership skills will give leaders the ability to think creatively when creating a vision, communicate that vision to their team, and inspire others to achieve organizational objectives. Furthermore, the training will help leaders build trust and handle conflict within their organizations. It is crystal clear that providing relevant and up-to-date training to TVET leaders and equipping them with appropriate leadership qualities has a vital role in transforming the TVET sector as a whole.
