The world's first Microcomputer Control System which can display Amharic (Ethiopian local language) successfully developed by the technical teachers of Confucius Institute of TVET Institute in Ethiopia.
The video tutorial, circuit design and program design of the Example of this system are also published on the Homepage of the CI at TVET Institute by Youtube and Facebook.
The success of the project provides a solution for the display of Ethiopian language in industrial control system, greatly reduces the cost of local language in the interface research and development of industrial control system, and will have a far-reaching impact in the field of Applied Technology Design in Ethiopia.
The Applied Technology Laboratory of Confucius Institute of TVET Institute was established in October 2018. ALL equipment was purchased from China. Free application technology courses taught by Chinese Technical Experts, are offered to students. The courses are focused in the field of Industrial Automation control and Robot control system. Since the beginning of the class, it is very popular with students, and the number of students who teach each week reaches 200. In addition, Chinese teachers lead excellent students to set up a Tech-Research Group, which mainly studies the implementation of local language in industrial control system and robot control system.
